  • Briana Felsen (she/her)

    Board Chair

    Briana Felsen has worked at the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) for the last 10 years. First in South Florida and now back home in the Greater Washington Area. Briana is the Greater Washington Director, overseeing a campaign that covers DC, the Maryland suburbs, and Northern Virginia. She graduated from Indiana University for her undergraduate degree and George Washington University for her graduate program.

    Briana is passionate about Jewish community building, reading good books, Hoosier basketball, and the perfect wine and cheese pairing. Briana lives in Potomac Maryland with her husband Jerry, their baby Sonny, and their dog Skipper.

  • Yosef Gillers (he/him)

    Immediate Past Chair

    Yosef is an experiential Jewish educator, team leader, and a Wexner Field Fellow (Class 7). With a degree in Environmental Studies from Washington University in St. Louis and a certificate in Experiential Jewish Education from M2, he bridges education with community impact.
    He is the Founder & Co-Executive Director of GrowTorah, and he serves on the board of I Was Supposed To Have a Baby and as a member of the Teaneck Environmental Commission. He lives in Teaneck, NJ, with his family and spends most of his winter Sundays teaching skiing at Plattekill Mountain.

  • Amanda Bryk (she/her)

    Board Member

    Amanda Bryk is a non-practicing attorney who worked in the financial markets practice of an AM100 law firm for 5 years. Amanda struggled with multiple pregnancy losses and secondary infertility and turned to social media when she felt alone within her community. She is excited to be a part of IWSTHAB and give back to a cause deeply personal to her family. Amanda now devotes her time to her husband (a urologist specializing in male infertility) and 3 children, volunteering at their school and volunteering within the Hollywood, Florida Jewish community.

  • Molly Cohen (she/her)

    Board Member

    Molly Cohen, L.L.M.S.W, is a social worker and therapist in the Metro Detroit area committed to supporting women and families through the emotional complexities of pregnancy, postpartum life, and early parenthood. In her clinical work within a private practice group focused on perinatal and maternal mental health, she provides compassionate, trauma-informed care to individuals navigating fertility challenges, pregnancy loss, postpartum adjustment, and the identity shifts that come with becoming a parent.
    Molly is particularly passionate about creating space for experiences that are often held in silence, with a focus on reducing isolation and helping parents feel more understood and supported in their day-to-day lives. Her work is deeply informed by both clinical training and her personal experience with perinatal mood and anxiety disorders and perinatal loss, which continues to shape her commitment to thoughtful, attuned care for families during vulnerable transitions.
    She lives in a suburb of Detroit with her husband, a podiatric resident, and their two young daughters. Outside of her clinical work, Molly is drawn to reading, writing poetry, crafting, and soaking up the sun with family and friends.

  • Lily Goodman (she/her)

    Board Member

    Lily Goodman is a nonprofit professional working at the Jewish Federation of Chicago for the last 14 years. Currently, Lily works on data and program evaluation efforts for the organization and its broad system of agencies and programs. Lily's passion for strengthening the Jewish community and her own infertility journey made IWSTHAB a perfect fit. She currently lives in the suburbs of Chicago with her dog Milo and loves spending time with her family and friends, especially her 7 nieces and nephews.

  • Rebecca Kobrin (she/her)

    Board Member

    Rebecca Kobrin is the Russell and Bettina Knapp Associate Professor of American Jewish History at Columbia University where she is also the co-director of Columbia’s Institute for Israel and Jewish Studies. She works in the fields of immigration history, urban studies, business history, and Jewish History, specializing in modern Jewish migration. She is one of the lead investigators leading the award-winning digital humanities Historical NYC Project, that visualizes of the demographic and spatial changes wrought in New York City between 1850 and 1940. Her writing regularly appears in The Washington Post, CNN, The Guardian and The Jerusalem Post. She serves on the Board of the Jewish Women’s Archive and lives in New York City with her 3 beautiful children.

  • Danielle Mizrahi (she/her)

    Board Member

    Danielle Mizrahi is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a private practice in West Hempstead, NY. Danielle has worked extensively with children and adolescents and their families for over 15 years and is currently pursuing a Certificate in Perinatal Mental Health (PHMC). Danielle was drawn to IWSTHAB because of her own personal experiences with infertility and reproductive trauma. She is committed to supporting others through their own journeys to creating a family. Danielle lives in West Hempstead with her husband and 3 miracles, Reuben, Jacob and Sarah.

  • Rachel Offenbacher (she/her)

    Board Member

    Rachel Offenbacher, MD, is a pediatric hematologist-oncologist and translational researcher. She serves on faculty at Sheba Medical Center and Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where she leads research focused on improving outcomes for children and adolescents with cancer through innovative translational science and clinical care. Through her clinical work caring for children and families facing serious illness, Rachel has developed a deep appreciation for the importance of compassionate support during life’s most difficult moments.

    Rachel found IWSTHAB during her own fertility and pregnancy loss journey and was immediately drawn to the organization’s honesty, warmth, and commitment to breaking stigma within the Jewish community. She is passionate about helping others feel less alone and supporting open conversations surrounding infertility, pregnancy loss, and family building. Rachel recently relocated from New York to Israel with her husband and their three sons.

  • Rabbi Karen Glazer Perolman (she/her)

    Board Member

    Karen Glazer Perolman is the Senior Associate Rabbi at Temple B’nai Jeshurun in Short Hills, NJ, the congregation she has served since 2008. She studied at the University of Maryland at College Park (2004) followed by Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in New York (M.A.H.L., 2009; Ordination, 2010).  Karen is married to Liz Glazer, a lawyer-turned-standup comedian and they are parents to Eloise (toddler), Jack (teenage cat), and Leo (of blessed memory.) Karen is the co-founder of Modern Jewess, a gift for Jewish Women and is currently working on a book of Jewish rituals and resources for infertility and loss. 

  • Adam Rattner (he/him)

    Board Member

    Adam Rattner is a Healthcare Attorney who grew up in Riverdale, NY. He attended Union College and Quinnipiac University School of Law. His interests are varied and include Health Equity, Jewish Causes, the New York Knicks and spending time with friends and family. Adam currently serves on the board of the Lower East Side Jewish Conservancy. He lives in Stamford, CT, with his wife Esther and his children, Lincoln and Sophie.

  • Estie Rose (she/her)

    Board Member

    Estie Rose is a certified genetic counselor and outreach coordinator for JScreen. She has a special interest in community education and serves as a resource for individuals who are facing genetic health issues and fertility struggles. After going through her own loss, Estie has been searching for ways to give back to the community that supported her. Estie lives in North Woodmere with her husband and three sons and spends the majority of her time listening to their fantasy sports league updates.

  • Sadie (Parris) Rosen (she/her)

    Board Member

    Sadie is a certified public accountant working in asset management tax at a Big 4 Public Accounting firm in Denver, CO. Sadie is one of the rare Colorado natives - born and bred in the state and attended the University of Denver for both her undergrad and masters programs.

    IWSTHAB was a very supportive resource during Sadie's own journey and she is excited to give back to this wonderful organization. Sadie is passionate about reading good books, baking, and following Denver sports teams. Sadie lives in Denver with her husband and three miracle kids.

  • Reva Schlanger (she/her)

    Board Member

    Reva Schlanger MS, RD, CDN is a registered dietitian specializing in counseling those who struggle with eating disorders and/or disordered eating. Reva’s mission is to help clients heal their relationship with food and body. She has also had the privilege of helping clients optimize their nutrition status for conception. After experiencing her own journey with pregnancy loss and IVF, she learned about IWSTHAB, which helped her feel seen and supported. In her free time, Reva loves to cook and spend quality time with her family including her golden retriever, Daisy. For Reva, life's all about relishing the flavors, both on the plate and in the heart.

  • Toby Schwartz (she/her)

    Board Member

    Toby Schwartz is a licensed clinical social worker with over 17 years of clinical practice. After receiving her master’s degree from New York University she worked in a community based mental health clinic for 6 and a half years. In 2013, she opened a private practice, which serves all genders and populations between the ages of 18 and 50. Toby has received training in trauma studies from the National Institute of Psychotherapy and completed the Eating Disorders, Compulsions, and Addictions Studies program and The William Allanson White Institute. Toby is a certified intuitive eating counselor and practices from a Health at Every Size Lens.
    Currently, she is a doctoral candidate at Wurzweiler School of Social Work’s DSW program where she is researching mental health implications from growing up in a weight focused and/or diet culture environment.

  • Rabbi Danny Stein (he/him)

    Board Member

    Rabbi Danny Morris-Dubin Stein is thrilled to join the University of California Berkeley Hillel team in the summer of 2026 as Rabbi & Senior Jewish Educator. Most recently, he served as the rabbi of The Selma and Lawrence Ruben Base UWS, a pluralistic Jewish community for 20s & 30s in New York City and a project of Mem Global, where he worked alongside his wife, Tamara. Danny is passionate about building Jewish communities rooted in deep Torah, hesed (compassion), and showing up as one's authentic self.

    After receiving support from I Was Supposed to Have a Baby during his own fertility journey filled with loss and uncertainty, Danny is humbled to help those on their own fertility journeys within the Jewish community. He is the proud abba (dad) of two daughters, including their IVF baby. Danny received rabbinic ordination from Hebrew College in 2023 and was a professional magician before becoming a rabbi. He loves studying Hasidut, running outdoors, and eating sushi.

  • Shani Sulzberger (she/her)

    Board Member

    Shani Sulzberger is a Human Resources professional currently working as a compliance specialist at Northwell Health. She currently assists in policy writing and management in order to create inclusive and equitable policies for all employees. Shani came across IWSTHAB early on and was really drawn to the content and education the organization has put out. After connecting with many posts and sharing with friends, she felt the need to get involved. She strongly supports the educational work IWSTHAB develops and believes that every person can benefit from the content, whether they are on their own fertility journey or wish to be compassionate to those around them.

Yosef holds a B.A. in Environmental Studies from Washington University in St. Louis and a certificate in Experiential Jewish Education from M2. Chairs the Teaneck Environmental Commission and the board of I Was Supposed To Have a Baby. He lives in Teaneck, NJ with his family. On winter Sundays, he can be found teaching skiing at Plattekill Mountain, in the Catskills.

  • Sarah Schachne Hirschfeld (she/her)

    Founding Board

    Sarah Schachne Hirschfeld is a non-practicing attorney with over 12 years of experience practicing corporate law at various New York law firms. She also has experience as a career counselor to students at a New York law school. Sarah struggled with infertility and pregnancy loss for many years and became familiar with IWSTHAB on Instagram. When she's not working or wrangling her two kids, Sarah enjoys organizing, decorating, and watching engaging, yet forgettable documentaries.

  • Rachel Honeyman (she/her)

    Founding Board

    Rachel Honeyman has been involved with IWSTHAB since its early days — first as a recipient of support, then as a board member. Rachel and her husband, Tzvi Doron, are childless-not-by-choice after a painful, 5+ year infertility journey, about which they've both written and spoken publicly (including in Instalives for IWSTHAB). While motherhood isn't in the cards for Rachel, she gains great comfort in being able to give back to the IWSTHAB community. Rachel has a Master's in English, runs a branding and web design agency, honeybebold, and is a martial artist and women's self-defense instructor. She lives in Long Island, NY.

  • Tobey Lass (she/her)

    Founding Board

    Tobey Lass Karpel, BCBA, LBA is a behavior analyst who has worked with hundreds of children ages 2-21 who have autism for over 10 years. Tobey is an advocate for inclusive spaces in her community. As a member of the IWSTHAB team, Tobey uses her creativity, networking mindset. and analytic skills to ensure that the content being created is unique, meaningful, and reaches a wide audience. Tobey’s favorite color is tie dye and she spends her free time traveling around the tri-state area looking for the perfect chocolate babka.

  • Sara Liberow (she/her)

    Founding Board

    Originally hailing from Colombia, (yes, we’ve got a native Spanish speaker in the house!), Sara brings a plethora of talents and experience to our advisory board. After experiencing her own journey with infertility, Sara brought her passion for creative initiatives, volunteerism, marketing and building relationships to the cause and joined IWSTHAB team.

    When she’s not dedicating hours to refining the back end of IWSTHAB, Sara loves cooking from scratch, collecting spices from around the world, and making food look as beautiful as it tastes—a journey she documents on her own Instagram.

  • Rachel Tuchman LMHC (she/her)

    Founding Board

    Rachel Tuchman is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with over ten years of experience. She has worked with many diverse populations including incarcerated women at Riker's Island Correctional Facility, kids and adults with developmental delays, kids with behavior issues, overwhelmed parents looking for skills and support, teens struggling with the pressures of adolescence, adults going through difficult life circumstances (divorce, infidelity, phase of life challenges) and women experiencing infertility.
